Fun with Kids – Lazy S’Mores

Lazy S’Mores

If you don’t already know it, I am a slacker. But, I’m a slacker with a creative streak, which I think works for me – especially as a Mom. That is why I loved the idea of these Lazy S’mores. We already had the ingredients in the house: graham crackers, marshmallows (giant ones – thanks, Mimi!), and Hershey’s kisses.

Have the kiddos lay out the graham crackers and top them with marshmallows. Place them in the oven on broil for about 1-2 minutes (watch them closely!). When they are toasty perfection on top, they are done. Let the kids smoosh in the kisses (be careful of the hot pan!). Voila! Lazy S’Mores – even in the rain!

Kitten and I both intended to eat one whole, but halfway through we succumbed to our baser selves and she ate both our kisses while I ate both our marshmallows. We’re a good team 🙂

Yummmmm. Needs more chocolate for me. Hershey’s bar would do the trick!

    …but they’re beautiful this way!

    • It was more a matter of supply than aesthetics, actually. We had Hershey kisses in the house. Also, I recommend using graham crackers that are not stale – that is probably key.
